Drápuhlíðarfjall -Stormy clouds gathering over Drápuhlíðarfjall. Usually this liparit mountain is light in colour, but turning darker under the stormy sky.

Dýrafjörður, in my opinion the most beautiful place in Iceland.
Dýrafjörður -From Dýrafjörður, the fjord where I was born. The two mountains form a door to the fjord. The name is considered to have been Dyrafjörður, meaning the fjord with doors.

Dýrafjörðu -lómur-Red-throated loon on a pond in Dýrafjörður. A few years ago we rescued a Red-throated loon from a fishing net, just nearby. Maybe this was the one, paying for the life-saving by posing for the photographer.
Þórsmörk -Plants growing high up in the mountains, with a view to Þórsmörk where the vegetation is unique due to the lack of sheep and the relatively mild weather between the glaciers.
